I’ve been learning a lot about ezine advertising lately from Charlie Page. He is an amazing teacher, and as the owner of the Directory of Ezines for the last 10 years, he knows an awful lot about ezine advertising.
One of the hardest parts about advertising your home business in an ezine is figuring out which ezines are good (responsive), and which are not. I’ve just written a Hub on selecting an ezine to advertise in.

My Internet Business is getting huge attention in the internet marketing and home-based business industries. Created by Darren Gaudry of Passport to Wealth fame, this new business is literally exploding.
Top marketers who have been “sitting it out” for a round or two are being brought back into the fight for this one. Do names like Josh Peak and Pierre Chuong ring a bell? Both huge names, and both announcing the development of My Internet Business teams.
Josh Peak and I have teamed up to launch this new team. Our strengths uniquely compliment each other, with my background in internet technology and his in marketing. Together, we cover the gamut. This team has legs, and we’re taking it to the top of My Internet Business.
One of the questions we’ve been hearing a lot is, “What kind of training do I get with My Internet Business?”
Here is our video response:
My Internet Business Training Review

Often, as I talk with other network marketers both in phone consultations and in person, the subject of leads comes up. For people who are new to the business, like I was not so long ago, it can be tough to understand the options that are available to you as a home-based business owner.
So, I dumped my brain into a Squidoo page. Everything I’ve learned so far on the subject, condensed into a nugget for you. I cover warm market, lead cooperatives, attraction marketing, affiliate marketing, and more. Check it out.

In part one of my series on MLM sponsoring strategies I discussed the traditional “warm market” approach to network marketing.
In this article I want to focus on another powerful strategy for bringing people into your home-based business opportunity: targeting people who are currently in a multi-level marketing opportunity or have been in the past.
Why would targeting network marketers be a good idea? Well, consider the following.

In my Magnetic Sponsoring back office, tonight, I noticed a new affiliate link. Curious, I went to the new address and found a pre-launch page for Mike Dillard’s newest MLM training course, “Building on a Budget.” It looks like Mike and crew have been burning the midnight oil to produce training on how to build a home business for less than five hundred dollars. Inside the pre-launch site, what I found was even more interesting.

I just added a pretty cool Wordpress plugin to the site called Commentluv. Aptly named, this little gem was a piece of cake to install and offer a great incentive for everyone to comment on what I write, adding value to the blog. What does it do?

If someone asked me for the “main” topics network marketers have trouble agreeing on, recruiting strategy would be near the top of the list. Certain companies have predominant styles, but there’s always that “renegade” team that breaks out and does something unique.
I’ve learned a lot since becoming a professional network marketer, but especially so on the subject of recruiting. I’ve studied various company teachings, the teachings of field leaders like Brig Hart, and network marketing trainers like Todd Falcone, Ellie Drake, and Tracy Biller. I’ve even had the pleasure of working with and learning from Ann Sieg on her personal team.
Rather than try and cram everything into one huge article, I thought it made more sense to break it up into several posts. So, this is the first in a small series about the various MLM recruiting strategies I’ve discovered.

So, you’ve chosen a business opportunity, and made sure that the quality of your product is excellent, you have a stellar management team, your compensation plan is the best, etc. Now, you need leads, and you’ve decided to use a blog. Bringing qualified prospects to your site is one of the most important skills you can develop as a new Internet marketer. But, as you’ll read, capturing and monetizing them is as important as getting them there in the first place.

If you are using your autoresponder to sell a product or service, you must be very careful as to how you approach your potential customer. Few people like a hard sale, and marketers have known for years that in most cases, a prospect must hear your message an average of seven times before they will make a purchase. How do you accomplish this with autoresponders?

It’s been my experience that, for the average business person, the biggest missed opportunity is when you are asked, “So, what is it that you do?”
At a recent BIG event here in Charlotte, Bill Whitley, author of “Story Selling in the Connected Economy,” spoke to us about making more of that opportunity. In a well-designed talk titled, “Out Think, Out Sell: 7 Ways to Accelerate Innovation & Sales,” Whitley led us through an interactive presentation on a number of interesting ways to improve our businesses. While he comes from the corporate world, the applicability of his talk to the network marketing industry wasn’t lost on me.
