Encouraging Comments on Your Blog with Commentluv

I just added a pretty cool Wordpress plugin to the site called Commentluv. Aptly named, this little gem was a piece of cake to install and offer a great incentive for everyone to comment on what I write, adding value to the blog. What does it do?
Basically, when you add a comment to the site, it will include a link to the latest headline from your blog’s RSS feed.
Why would you want this? I put a lot of effort into writing good content and creating links to this site, which raises my search engine rankings. By simply adding a (hopefully valuable) comment to my site, you will now get a link from my site to your blog. That will, in turn, increase your ranking.
It’s my present to you for being a reader and participating here. After all, a rising tide raises all ships, right?

I really like this plugin but always wonder if it will hurt my googleability… I think it’s good for blogs trying to get readers… but bad for blogs that rely on google traffic… as a compromise I use it on about 1/2 my blogs!

I love the commentluv plugin. I’ve been using it on my social networking blogs for a couple of months now. Andy Baily did a great job developing this plug-in … and I just read on his FiddyP.co.uk blog the other day that he’ll be coming out with even more cool updates soon.

I’ve tried to install the CommentLuv plugin. However, it’s not showing up. Wondering whether it’s incompatible with the Subscribe to Comments plugin that I also use.
You seem to be able to use both here. Can give me a tip or two?

I have installed commentluv on all my wordpress blogs. I reckon that if nothing else I am at least rewarding people for commenting.

CommentLuv is a great plugin and it really does encourage people to post more comments. When you have a ton of comments you get free content for you site. Great Post.

Commentluv is a really valuable plugin, I just installed it on my blog.The best feature is that it adds a link to the last post you have made and encourages more comments.

I just downloaded the plug and its working super fine for me, I did commented on other blogs, i use to visit daily and do comment on them and saw my last blog posts there
Its a great tool for every blogger to try out at least

CommentLuv helps you reward your commentators by separating their name from their keywords in the link to their site. This gives them improved anchor text, which can help their site rank higher in the search engine results.
You can now leave a comment with your name as well as a keyword of your choice here and get a PR5 link back to your site! How cool is that? People pay big bucks for that and all you have to do is comment here.
